Ruffin does a masterful job of research and relates many facts about St Pio but on page 299 he tells us that Padre Pio used snuff. Snuff is a mild drug containing nicotine and I hardly think that St Pio would stoop to such a filthy habit. On that same page, the author tells us that Padre Pio believed that few people actually go to hell which is a direct contradiction to Our Lady of Fatima. After reading this page, it soured my taste for reading the rest of the book because I knew the author had taken liberties that were not true.
