I love the stories these authors write. The character development is very good, there are a lot of emotional ups and downs and some laughs built in. Great to see the next phase of Ryker Madsen's career, albeit a side plot as we meet a new cast of characters on a new to us team.I do wish there was more clarity about the evil Aarni; however, if this series follows the pattern of the Railers and Otowana series, more should be revealed in time.If this is your first book by these authors, not to worry. You can pick this one up without reading any prior books and have a satisfyingly complete read.
